So maybe the water isn't quite as blue as it could be....and maybe the sand isn't quite as white as it could be...
But its all about how you look at things:
Would you make a trip to Houston to go to the beach? Probably not. But if you're in Houston for other reasons, plus you get to go the beach? Sweet!

I agree. We appreciate the ocean anywhere/way we can get it. Go to Galveston when it hasn't rained in a LONG time...and the water looks awesome!

Speaking of visits, You guys should come and visit (or move here, every one else is going to) us at the big kids beach. There are lots of other attractions such as forest fires, same sex marriage, overpriced homes, horrific traffic, and movie stars!
