James Terrell exhibit at the MFAH and dinner at Max's for our anniversary. 

Small friends

Despite the 15m age difference these two are great little friends. Wells is his shadow and so far at least Quinn doesn't mind at all. 

Furry friends

For a boy who shows very little affection to people (including his parents), Wells loves his stuffed animals. They get all the hugs and kisses - but occasionally he lets us in on it and when he does its the best thing ever.

Sometimes I come ready with every trick in the book, and sometimes it just isn't enough. 

 

Quick trip to Dallas

We drove to Dallas for the weekend to visit the Ghazimoradi's. They took us historic trolley riding, splash padding, food trucking, made us Reza's famous smoked ribs and let Wells sleep in the same room as the train table - he thought he'd won the lottery again every morning when he woke up and it was right there.

Walks along the bayou, BBQ, swimming, water balloon fights and cannon balls.
