They tell me its pronounced "Green"

Its been basically a year since TJ took me dancing. Which means that its been long enough that he was ready to humor me and go again. S0 we drove to Gruene to try out another dance hall that claims to be the oldest in Texas.

We explored the old town and had dinner at the Grist Mill. This is the picture the hostess took after I lined it up and said "I think from here you can get the whole building". Thanks sweetie. Great effort there.

You'll just have to trust me - it was in the old cotton gin and it was really cool. Also, its the 3rd largest restaurant in Texas and there were 50 hosts and 80 servers working that night. Amazingly it was still totally charming.

Later that night we got gussied up and came back to see the show. Unfortunately (depending on who you ask) it was more Southern Rock than Country Swing, and there wasn't a whole lot of dancing going on. Guess that just means we'll have to go again!

That place looks great. It makes me wish I was still in Houston.

Two things: 1. I love that old white building. I was imagining it to have some kind of shabby chic decor inside, but I know that that is incorrect. 2. I love love love your necklace and your striped skirt. Lovely!

Time to invest in a tripod! Awkward, yes. But only you can determine your photo fate.
