Brown and Grey:
1. Do they work together in an outfit? (dark brown trousers with a dark grey sweater....just for example)
2. Do they work together in a room?
and seriously - when/why did TJ get such strong opinions about interior decorating and colors in general?

Thats awesome because Grant and I have had the same conversation! After asking me what to wear and suggesting a brown and gray ensemble he will inevitably argue with me saying they don't "go." Even if I did believe in clothing rules, I think the laws of color prove they look great together. Thats what I think. =)
I don't know when T.J. got such strong opinions but it is nice to know because Nick has a lot more to say about decorating then I do.
One "style rule" that I'm constantly breaking is don't mix browns and blacks....but I love brown and black together with some cream/white and another muted color. I also think grays and browns work great together if they're of the same tone. You could definitely pull it off. If you like it, then THAT'S really the rule you should follow!
Your talking to the lady with two rooms that are two different colors of blue.....Hello!!!!....but we love it in the daytime!
