Not a fish

Sprinkler play date at Kathryn's the other day. He sat right here almost the entire time, with short breaks for lunch and to play in the dirt. This boy is not a fan of water and 8 other kids having fun in the sprinkler on the other side of the yard didn't even tempt him. Possible upside, maybe we won't have to worry about peer pressure creating problems with this one?

Mother's Day

Not quite the happy-love-each-other photos I was hoping for, but what can you do. Whenever Wells is having a rough day he heads for Baxter, and it was a two-Baxter kind of morning.

A perfect afternoon

Since Shauri is out of town on actual Mother's Day we celebrated her's a week early with a BBQ in the back garden on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon.

Three mums, four kids, two days at Sara's ranch. 

(I got prettier pics when we went last year - Wells was 5 months old so we were waking up much earlier.)
