I've officially gone solo.

Happy 4th

Nothing like celebrating the USA with Italian pizza and Brazilian limeade. Oh well - the swimming part felt terribly American.

Grilled pizza instructions here. We'll have to ask Jess about the limeade.

Having this guy as our tour guide for the weekend.

I ate my way through San Fransisco

Highlights included dinner with old friends and pastries from Tartine in the park for breakfast.

Mustache-querade

This girl threw a mustache-querade for Josh's 30th.

The only possible setting where TJ could ever win 'best moustache'.

Cutting off your nose

In our neighborhood, there's a little bit of tension between old homes and new builds. This is an adorable bungalow that found itself next to the site of several new homes. While other homeowners in the vicinity put (removable) signs in their yards, this homeowner decided to really commit:

Birthday Eats

On our birthdays we like to pretend we're foodies, so we started the weekend at an Indian Fusion restaurant.

Dinner was great but I didn't fancy those spices in my dessert, so on we went to Amy's for sundaes.

Saturday morning was breakfast tacos at Chilosos with the Nixons (they escaped without a photo).

Then we finished the day off with sliders and shakes at Little Bigs - party hats handmade by Jess.

If you're thinking that sounds a little excessive, its totally ok, I'm eating for two these days.
