any excuse to hide eggs

When I told people at work we were going to have an easter egg hunt for TJ's brother and sister, they said 'oh, cute! how old are they?' --- "17 and 19" ---- "oh..."

When I told Heather and Michael to bring their baskets for an easter egg hunt they thought I was joking.

I think its totally normal.

Very sad story

Sunday was beautiful, so we headed out to enjoy it on our porch swing. Things were less beautiful when the swing came crashing down and peeled off half of the porch's ceiling with it.






Our lovely painters took the hooks out of the ceiling when they painted and didn't do such a great job when they put them back in.

Everything tastes better fried

This was my 4th year to go to the Rodeo, and I'd really already done everything before...except, eat a fried Snickers bar. So this year I made sure to get one (on a stick, naturally):


It was everything I'd hoped it would be, and so much more.

Its nice to have friends in fun places

This weekend was roller coasters, canoeing with manatees and airboat rides -

- all with our favorite Orlandians.

I do love a good "before and after" post

I've been playing with the idea of doing something like this. When I polled my family, I got a resounding, "No!!!!!"
