Here's to good customer service

So I used a company to help with some stuff at work and they kind of messed up. Well, they really messed up. They got lucky and nothing bad happened - but it really could have been disastrous.

I definitely let them know how I felt, but I didn't go crazy on them or anything. I also had no intention of continuing to use their services.

This morning when I came in there was a gift card to a fancy day spa waiting for me!

Guess I'll be using their company again afterall.

My new favorite thing

Bananas!

They're good in everything!

I love bananas in my cereal. I love bananas in my pancakes. And as of tonight, I love bananas in my cookies.

we did create-your-own-cookies for young women's tonight so i made plain oatmeal cookie dough and let them add different candy bars / butterscotch, peanut butter and chocolate chips. After they left I noticed some bananas on the counter and gave them a try.

oh my.

I'm sure its been done by someone before, but i've never had oatmeal banana cookies before.

This afternoon my dentist asked, in all seriousness, if I was from East Texas.

Did not inspire confidence!

Things that should be illegal:

1. False Advertising

I found tickets to London for $280. That's right - $280. At first I couldn't believe it either. I spend that much on my hair! (not really...but some people do)

I had found the cheapest tickets to london EVER and I was over the moon. I told my family and started making plans...

Then I went to book the tickets and discovered there was $550 worth of taxes and fees. $550? Are you kidding me?

They really shouldn't be allowed to do that.

Tibalt

This is the kitten that has taken up residence in our backgarden. My sister Cori named it Tibalt.

Turns out kittens are really cute. Also turns out they only drink saucers of milk in cartoons.

Grease?

Our neighbor is really into classic cars and hangs out with all his classic car friends.
The other day we came home and this was parked in the drive way. Makes me want to put on my poodle skirt and saddle shoes and go get a milkshake.

Houston has beaches too!

So maybe the water isn't quite as blue as it could be....and maybe the sand isn't quite as white as it could be...

But its all about how you look at things:

Would you make a trip to Houston to go to the beach? Probably not. But if you're in Houston for other reasons, plus you get to go the beach? Sweet!
